Antczak Park

Antczak Park was built in 1977 and is named after Don Antczak, who served as a Board of Trustee for the Cottonwood Heights Parks and Recreation Service Area, and as a member of the City Council. 

Located in the Colebrook neighborhood directly next to Ridgecrest Elementary, Antczak Park has a wide array of amenities sure to fit any recreation style.

Berry Hill Park

Berry Hill Park is a small "pocket park" within the Knudsen's Corner neighborhood. It serves the dual purpose of providing neighborhood greenspace, while also assisting with stormwater management as a retention basin. 

Berry Hill does not have formal "programmed" amenities such as playgrounds or sports courts, but its grassy field, shade trees, and benches make it a peaceful spot for relaxation. 

Butler Park

Located directly next to Butler Middle School and the Cottonwood Heights Recreation Center, Butler Park is a favorite place among Brighton neighborhood residents and city-wide visitors alike. It features many amenities spread across its 11.3 acres, truly offering something for everyone.

Bywater Park

Located in the Butlerville neighborhood, Bywater Park  is a key feature along the Thanksgiving Day 5K route, a beloved pavilion picnic spot, and a popular venue for community baseball games, held on the Riley England Memorial Field. 

Bywater Park has a great balance of programmed amenities and green space. Its sport courts and open fields are sure to delight the whole family.

Canyon Centre Park

Canyon Centre Park is a new park being planned for Cottonwood Heights within the Canyon Centre development area at 7371 S. Canyon Centre Pkwy. The city currently has two different draft concepts for this future park. You can view the concepts by clicking here.

Crestwood Park

Located in the aptly named Crestwood neighborhood, Crestwood Park is the largest park in Cottonwood Heights. At 58 acres, its size and amenities qualify it as a regional park, yet this hidden treasure has the charm and feel of a neighborhood-scale open space.

Doverhill Park

Doverhill Park is currently under construction at 3625 E. Doverhill Dr. Once completed, it will be a two-acre public park with a pavilion, play equipment, walking trail, and central lawn area. Construction is estimated to be complete in 2025. 

Golden Hills Park

Tucked in the Danish Town neighborhood, Golden Hills Park boasts popular amenities backed by breathtaking views of the Wasatch Mountains.

Ferguson Park

Ferguson Park is the newest park in Cottonwood Heights. The park features an off-leash dog area, walking loop, and trailhead amenities for Ferguson Canyon. There are two small pavilions, as well as various picnic tables and benches.

Mill Hollow Park

Of all the parks in Cottonwood Heights, Mill Hollow Park may have the most unique topography. Located within the Knudsen's Corner neighborhood, it features steep, sheer hills — the result of former gravel pit operations at this site. 

These days, the mining has stopped and is replaced instead with athletic fields, a walking path, and a popular playground.

Mountview Park

Mountview Park is one of the most popular parks in Cottonwood Heights. Its location along the bustling Fort Union Corridor within the Colebrook neighborhood makes it an ideal destination for residents and regional visitors alike. 

Mountview serves as the venue for many beloved events, and also provides access to the East Jordan Canal Trail.

Old Mill Park (Spencer's Pond)

Old Mill Park, sometimes called "Spencer's Pond," is a unique open space area, blending recreation and history into one beautiful setting. Located in the Old Mill neighborhood, it features a segment of the Big Cottonwood Trail, a charming footbridge, and beautiful shade trees and spring flowers. The pond acts as a catchment basin for debris from Big Cottonwood Creek, and is typically full of water in the springtime.

Following the Big Cottonwood trail eastward, visitors can read informational plaques that narrate the early settlement history of this area, including the history of the adjacent Cottonwood Paper Mill, often referred to simply as the "Old Mill."
