Light the Heights - December 2, 2019

On Monday, December 2, Cottonwood Heights will hold its Light the Heights event at City Hall.

The holiday festivities will kick off at 5:00 PM with a Christmas Craft Market, Free Hot Chocolate and Free kids’ crafts.  Santa Clause will arrive with the help of the Cottonwood Heights Police Department at 5:45 PM at City Halls outside plaza on the corner of 2300 East and Bengal Boulevard.

Santa will lead us in Christmas songs along with the Cottonwood Heights Arts Council showing us a sneak peak of their play, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever!

At 6:15 PM Santa and Mayor Peterson will start the count down for the Tree Lighting.

Santa will be visiting with the children at 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM inside city hall.  This year instead of waiting in line we will issue tickets for line placement. These tickets will be handed out starting at 5:30 PM. Come grab a ticket and enjoy the festivities.  Ticket numbers will be announced over the sound system and they will be posted next to Santa.

The Craft Market will be open from 5 PM to 8 PM. It’s a great opportunity for you to shop for holiday gifts or you can indulge yourself with some warm roasted nuts, or even a warm pretzel!

Vendors needed!

We are looking for crafters who sell handmade items, ornaments, gifts, paintings.  If we do not fill up with craft vendors, we will allow vendors who are selling holiday gifts items.  Vendor fee is $20.   The space size is 5’ x 5’.  We will provided you a 5’ x 2’ table and 2 chairs.
