Mission Statement

The Events Division creates, plans and manages programs for various segments of the Cottonwood Heights Community. Our events are planned to exceed community expectations and create lifetime memories for residents.

“Our events begin with the end in mind”

Butlerville Days

Cottonwood Heights’ community celebration is an enjoyable family event held on July 23 and 24, 2018. We have FREE face painting, a balloon artist, watermelon, a car show, a movie in the park and great onstage entertainment. We also have food vendors and rides. Don’t forget to stay and watch the best fireworks show on July 24!

Please go to the Butlerville Days page for more information!

Other Events

If you’re looking for information about an upcoming event then this is the page for you. Easter Egg Hunt, Bark in the Park and Monster Mash on Ice are just a few of our events on this page.

Special Events Permits

Any activity which is held on city streets and property requires a Special Event Permit. “SPECIAL EVENT” means any athletic event, entertainment event or political event, whether held for profit, nonprofit or charitable purposes. It is unlawful to promote, advertise or hold a special event without first obtaining a Special Events Permit and paying the required fees.

Get Involved! (Volunteer)

Have you attended an event which you felt could have been better? Do you have a skill or talent that you would love to share with us? You can donate a small amount of your time or devote yourself fully to one or more of our events or committees. It all adds up and makes a difference in keeping our community events alive and strong. To learn more about events volunteering, click here.
