Wasatch Front Waste & Recycling District (WFWRD) has launched a free mobile app for its residents. It can be found by searching for “Wasatch Front Waste” on the Apple or Android app stores, and it is available in both English and Spanish.
To ease the minds of students and parents in this time of distance learning, CSD will put into place a modified grading structure for the final term.
The IRS urges taxpayers to be on the lookout for scams related to the Economic Impact Payments. There is no fee required to receive these payments.

Notice is hereby given that the Cottonwood Heights City Council will hold a Work Session at approximately 5:00 p.m., or soon thereafter, on Tuesday, April 21, 2020. In view of the current Covid-19 pandemic, this work session will occur electronically, without a physical location.
COVID -19 testing requirements have been loosened and the state now wants to test ANYONE that has at least one COVID symptom - fever, cough, shortness of breath. Also, ANYONE who has been exposed to someone with COVID-19 should also get tested.
The Cottonwood Heights City Shakeout event scheduled for April 18th has been cancelled due to the Salt Lake County Stay at Home Order. This event will be rescheduled for October.
CDC recommends wearing cloth face coverings in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain (e.g., grocery stores and pharmacies), especially in areas of significant community-based transmission.

It has come to our attention that there are predatory organizations seeking to capitalize on small businesses during this time of distress. We have heard that businesses have been told they need to pay a fee before applying for small business federal relief.
COVID Testing is available on weekends and individuals are encouraged to get tested. Testing provides vital information which will help lead the way through this crisis. For information on test sites with weekend availability, click here.
