Red, White & Bloom: Celebrating America 250 Through Community Pride

As part of the nationwide celebration of America's 250th Anniversary, Cottonwood Heights City is proud to launch Red, White & Bloom, a community recognition program designed to celebrate residents who showcase exceptional patriotic pride through their yard displays.

From American flags and patriotic bunting to creative red, white, and blue decorations, our neighborhoods are filled with residents who take pride in honoring our nation and strengthening community spirit. Red, White & Bloom provides an opportunity to recognize these efforts and celebrate the homes that help make Cottonwood Heights shine.

Residents are invited to nominate neighbors whose yards demonstrate outstanding patriotism, creativity, and community pride. Whether the display features traditional patriotic décor, vibrant seasonal landscaping, decorative lighting, or unique tributes to our nation, we want to recognize the individuals and families who help create a festive and welcoming community.

How to Participate

• Nominations will be accepted throughout June and July 2026.
• Residents may nominate any Cottonwood Heights home displaying patriotic decorations.
• Winners will be selected and recognized in August 2026.

This program is part of the larger America 250 Utah initiative, commemorating the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and celebrating the people, places, and stories that define our nation and our community.

We encourage everyone to look around their neighborhood and help us identify the residents whose patriotic displays inspire pride, unity, and appreciation for our country.
