National Prescription Drug Take Back Day!

Clean Out Your Medicine Cabinet for National Take Back Day

Post Date:04/02/2026

Join Cottonwood Heights’ public health coalition, Health in the Heights, for National Prescription Drug Take Back Day! Help keep your household and community safe by dropping off your unused or expired prescription medications.

📅 Saturday, April 25, 2026
9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
📍 Cottonwood Heights City Hall (2277 E. Bengal Blvd.)

Expired or unused prescriptions can pose serious risks if kept at home. Holding onto leftover medication increases the likelihood of misuse by someone you love. Take a simple step to reduce that risk by safely disposing of medications at this event.

Please note: No over-the-counter medications will be accepted. Prescription liquids must remain in their original bottles. E-cigarettes and vape devices are accepted only if batteries are removed.
