Start the New Year with Plenty to Do at Whitmore Library
Posted on 01/01/2019

School-age kids should check out the Whitmore Library’s Full STEAM Ahead weekly program starting in January. Learn science, technology, and engineering through the fun use of Legos, robots,  and so much more.

Gamers of all ages should stop by the Whitmore Deck Destroyers Gaming Club. Do you play deck building games like Pokemon or Magic: The Gathering? Bring your decks for a tournament or learn to play one of these fun games. Prizes will be given to everyone who comes.

If your New Year’s resolutions include a desire to read more, join the Nonfiction Book Club and read their January title: “Hillbilly Elegy” by J.D. Vance.

Don't forget the library will be closed on Jan.  21 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
