Month of May Brings Art Show to Whitmore Library

Posted on 05/01/2018

Visit Salt Lake County Library Services Whitmore Library this month and you’ll find the Senior Art Show on display, in addition to a variety of fun programs. Artists are invited to ask about displaying their work at the library, and as always, the library is excited to feature new artwork. Whitmore Library also is seeking members to add to its Senior Advisory Board. Make new friends, improve library services, plan library events and make a difference. Programs this month include:

Burgers and Brownies:

Dust off the grill and get ready for the perfect burger! Sharon Liapis will share sliders, a few recipes for you to try at home, and a delicious brownie. (Adults)

Drum Bus:

Laugh, learn and play the drums. Fun that can’t be “beat!” (Teens)

Utah Puppet Theater’s Boy Who

Cried Wolf:

One of Aesop's most loved tales with a twist. A shepherd boy longs for excitement and makes some of his own by telling a lie. The sheepdog decides to teach the boy a lesson about telling the truth. (Families)
