Gilson Engineering

The Engineering Division's primary objective is to plan, design and construct high-quality public infrastructure that serves as a backbone for the community.  Cottonwood Heights enjoys the benefit of nearly $350 million worth of public infrastructure.  We always look to provide a high level of safety in the most economical and efficient way, and we strive to address infrastructure demands in an open-minded way.

Primary Functions
The main functions of the Engineering Division include:

 - Plan Review and Inspections of Private Development
 - Design and Construction of the City's Capital Improvement Projects
 - Inspection and Maintenance of the Public Street System
 - Traffic Control and Traffic Safety Issues
